The garage...dun-dun-dun!

We insulated the garage today. Took several hours but it was well worth the money we saved by doing it ourselves! Next weekend we will be drywalling the walls we had to insulate with the help of some of Donny's friends. There will be plenty of beer, margaritas and steak as a reward for them helping us! Once the garage is complete I will upload pictures of the fun process we went through!! Our landscaping is being worked on (FINALLY) and we are hoping to have sod by the end of next week. We are very excited to have this house as a starter house so we can practice different diy projects. Next up: patio! Followed by: painting almost every room so the whole damn house isn't the same color!!

The first!

The first post is supposed to be riveting to keep your attention and keep you coming back. But I make no promises. Donny and I moved halfway across the country a few weeks ago and it is already turning out to be a fantastic journey! In the next few weeks we plan on insulating and dry walling the garage (thanks to Gabe and Jennifer in advance). By the end of the summer we will have a backyard with sod (cross your fingers) and will be putting in our own backyard patio paradise! Fire pit included.


While we're here, we plan on going to KC a lot to visit family and friends. Donny and I are also going to explore this state as much as we can (probably on the motorcycles) to get the most out of this assignment.
